K&L Gates Triage: Human Subject Research and Revisions to the Common Rule – Informed Consent and Single IRB Requirements
This is the second episode in a series on recent revisions to the Federal Policy for the Protection of Human Subjects, better known as the “Common Rule.” This episode discusses changes to informed consent requirements for human subject research and what types of research may be exempt from such requirements. In addition, this episode will discuss the single IRB requirement for research encompassing multiple sites.
