K&L Gates Selects Charlotte Partner as 2018 Leadership Council on Legal Diversity Fellow
Launched in 2011, the program works to identify, train, and advance the next generation of high-potential attorneys from diverse backgrounds in order to foster diversity at the leadership levels of law firms and corporate legal departments.
“I am grateful to K&L Gates and LCLD for this exceptional opportunity,” said Reschly. “I look forward to participating in the Fellows program and continuing to foster diversity within the firm and the legal profession at large.”
Reschly focuses her practice on commercial litigation, white collar law matters, and government contract disputes, representing clients in both federal and state courts. Prior to joining K&L Gates, Reschly was a trial attorney with the Commercial Litigation Branch of the U.S. Department of Justice, where she litigated commercial disputes on behalf of federal agencies. She is a member of K&L Gates’ global diversity committee, and serves as co-chair of the firm’s Carolinas diversity subcommittee.
“We are proud to have Marla represent K&L Gates as an LCLD Fellow,” stated Sean Jones, administrative partner of K&L Gates’ Charlotte office. “Her participation in this program will further enhance her leadership skills and the value she can bring to her client relationships, as well as the firm’s commitment to diversity throughout the community.”
