K&L Gates Further Enhances Washington, D.C., Office with International Trade Partner Hire
Washington, D.C. - The Washington, D.C., office of global law firm K&L Gates LLP welcomes Steven F. Hill as a partner in the antitrust, competition, and trade regulation practice. Hill, who arrives from Baker & McKenzie, is the seventh new partner, of counsel, or public policy professional to join K&L Gates’ Washington, D.C., office in the past two months.
Hill has nearly 20 years of experience focusing on international trade regulation compliance and enforcement, United States export controls and sanctions law, and anti-corruption matters, including regulatory issues under the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA).
He has advised clients across numerous industries in the energy, retail, healthcare, finance, manufacturing, aerospace, and telecommunications sectors on strategies for cross-border transactions and responding to government enforcement actions, as well as on conducting international mergers and acquisitions, the formation of joint ventures, and securing and retaining business partners and intermediaries. He also has experience assisting clients in connection with national security reviews conducted by the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS).
