K&L Gates Continues Climb in Law Firm Brand Rankings with Second Consecutive Appearance on BTI Brand Elite
23 April 2015
Boston - Global law firm K&L Gates LLP again has been recognized among the world’s top law firm brands, climbing two spots and earning its second consecutive top-15 ranking out of 450 firms in the “BTI Brand Elite 2015: Client Perceptions of the Best-Branded Law Firms.”
The ranking, voted on by corporate counsel and legal decision makers based on brand influence, strength, and competitiveness, sees K&L Gates rise to the 13th best-branded firm (up from 15th in 2014). The report also noted K&L Gates among the “best of the best” for tech savviness in client service and as one of only two firms earning “best of the best” accolades in three innovation categories.
Based on unbiased and direct feedback from more than 600 one-on-one interviews with corporate counsel at some of the world’s largest corporations, the survey by BTI Consulting Group asks clients to identify — on an unprompted and strictly top-of-mind basis — which law firms they most associate with nine key brand differentiators, such as client service, value, and tech savviness, that influence the hiring and selection of law firms.
Earlier this year, K&L Gates was recognized as one of the 10 strongest U.S. law firm brands by Acritas in the legal market research company’s “US Law Firm Brand Index 2015.” The report noted K&L Gates as the firm with the greatest movement among those ranked in the top 20 over the past two years.
