K&L Gates Advises Inspirit Capital on Investment in Europe's Largest Digital Cinematography and Hire Facility
London - K&L Gates has advised Inspirit Capital on an investment in Procam Group, Europe’s largest digital cinematography and hire facility. The terms of the transaction include the carve-out of Procam’s UK and U.S. branches, as well as their Procam Projects and Take 2 Films divisions.
Inspirit’s investment will enable the business to accelerate its growth plans and realign focus on its core business offering of digital cinema and film equipment rental.
The cross-border K&L Gates team that advised Inspirit was led by London partner James Cross, and also included London partner Giles Bavister; Charlotte partner Randy Clark; London counsel Michael Anderson; London associate Emma Cooper; Raleigh associate Jenny Sneed; and London trainee Alexander Wooley.
Founding Partners of Inspirit Capital Will Stamp and Albert Farrant commented: “James and the team worked tirelessly to deliver the transaction in a very accelerated timeframe. The support from K&L Gates was invaluable throughout and we thoroughly enjoyed working with them on what is a landmark transaction for Inspirit.”
Cross stated: “It was a pleasure to act for Inspirit Capital on their first investment. The transaction demonstrates our global private equity capability and our work on both solvent and insolvent transactions.”
