Conversations About Race: Dr. Harry Williams
We believe that education is key to activate change; therefore, we are actively hosting a speaker series titled Conversations About Race to convene voices around diversity. In this video, we welcome Dr. Harry Williams, President and CEO of the Thurgood Marshall College Fund, the largest organization in the United States that exclusively represents publicly supported historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs). Dr. Williams discussed the history of HBCUs, the important role they have played in educating black students, the role of those students and graduates in the Civil Rights movement, and the critical role HBCUs play today in our society for black people and others. Dr. Williams shared his perspectives with our stakeholders in the U.S. and around the world, and it was an incredibly valuable conversation. We are pleased to share this powerful discussion with you.
