Conversations About Race: Chief Justice Cheri Beasley
We believe that education is key to activate change; therefore, we are actively hosting a speaker series titled Conversations About Race to convene voices around diversity. In this video, we welcome Chief Justice Cheri Beasley, the first African-American woman in the North Carolina Supreme Court’s 200-year history to serve as Chief Justice. Chief Beasley discusses her commitment to fair and accessible courts, mentoring, and several other topics with associate Petal Munroe Reddick, who volunteered on her 2014 election campaign. We are pleased to share this powerful discussion with you.
