Blue Economy Handbook
The Blue Economy refers to that broad category of economic sectors and industries that seek to make sustainable and beneficial use of offshore marine resources on and above the Outer Continental Shelf. The Blue Economy includes many traditional economic sectors, such as shipping, fishing, coastal tourism, and telecommunications, in addition to new sectors such as renewable energy, seabed mining, and offshore carbon storage.
Our Blue Economy handbook explores the opportunities, regulatory challenges, user conflicts, and other issues associated with three of the largest sectors within this burgeoning area: fisheries, aquaculture, and offshore wind. Click here to download the publication.
