Anna L'Hommedieu is an associate in the White Collar Defense and Investigations practice group. Her practice focuses on government investigations, regulatory enforcement actions, internal investigations, white-collar defense, and complex civil litigation matters.
Anna represents individuals and corporations before various federal regulators and enforcement authorities, including the US Department of Justice (DOJ) and the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). During the course of these investigations, Anna has gained experience with a variety of state and federal laws, including federal securities laws, accounting practices, the FDCA, and anti-money laundering laws. Her experience includes defending clients through various stages of government investigations, subpoena responses, witness interview and testimony preparation, internal investigations, and presentations to the government on the client's behalf.
Anna has also represented clients in commercial litigation cases in state and federal courts, including courts in Massachusetts, New York, Illinois, Ohio, Utah, Vermont, and Texas. She has experience with the many different phases of commercial litigation, including drafting pleadings, discovery, dispositive motion practice, and settlement negotiations.
Anna is also involved in pro-bono matters, including helping individuals obtain asylum in the United States and assisting with the Cyber Civil Rights Initiative, Inc.
Anna is a member of the K&L Gates Boston Hiring Committee, the Boston Diversity and Inclusion Committee, and serves as an Associate Liaison in the Boston office.
