Prior to joining the firm, Anderson was an associate at regionally based, full service law firm. Anderson has represented hospitals, surgery centers, home health and hospice providers, skilled nursing facilities (SNFs), assisted living facilities (ALFs), psychiatric/behavioral health providers and physician groups in all manner of health care regulatory issues and litigation, with a particular focus on Certificate of Need (CON) matters. An experienced litigator, Anderson practices before a number of different tribunals. He regularly appeared before the North Carolina Office of Administrative Hearings and has litigated Medicare reimbursement issues before the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Departmental Appeals Board (DAB). Most recently, he arbitrated a contract dispute before the American Health Lawyers Association’s (AHLA) Dispute Resolution Service.
